More than Food!

Since we began this venture, we’ve thought about offering our community more than food…more than coffee!  Sometimes we see this community of ours growing up, expanding and we experience the challenges of that growth.  Like a boat though, we are steering the course.  The Chit Chat Cafe & Corner Market represents community, friendship, home cooking and quality!  We hope that you will stop by and share our links with friends and family that you know.  We love to see our neighbours and we also enjoy seeing the travelers come in off the roads and highway between Ottawa, Kingston and Toronto!  Introduce yourselves to us and we’ll put your pin on the map!

Recently, we decorated up our space for our March St. Paddy’s day event…what a community we live in!  WHOOT!

The Marrieds are Coming! Mark Your Calendars!

May 2nd will be an exciting night for eats and music here at the Chit Chat Cafe & Corner Market!

Look!  Time has passed in the dead of winter.  We tried to warm up in February with old time country music and in March, celebrating St. Patrick’s day on March 15th!  You folks were hopping to Celtic/east coast/Irish music and dining on Irish themed dishes/desserts on the buffet table!  Now, that one was a ton of fun!

Now, LOOK!  We are featuring this fantastic duo, the Marrieds!  You don’t want to miss it and because seating is limited, you need to book this event soon!

 

 

The Marrieds have shared the stage with Kathleen Edwards, Danny Michel and The Trews & were voted Regional Top 20 in CBC’s Searchlight Competition 2013, were #2 on The London Free Press’s Top 10 Albums of 2013 and won 2012 Toronto Independent Music Award in the Folk/Roots category.

Dinner begins at 6:00 pm. with the show from 7:00 to 9:30 pm.  There will be an extensive buffet menu as per usual including soups, salads, entrees, desserts & coffee/tea, all for 29.95 incl. taxes.  RESERVE EARLY by calling 613-354-2900.  We’d love to see you!

Chase Those Winter Blues Away!

It’s a struggle sometimes to get through an oppressive winter…but, look at it this way…the days are getting longer already!

We’d love to see you stop in for a visit, warm yourself up…take a break from those winter roads and share a coffee with us.  Always offering you friendship, good food and hot drinks!
